With your tax deductable donation, LLS can continue funding critical research in the fight against blood cancers as well as provide information, treatments and outstanding patient services. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is a nonprofit\ and world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. We are the leading resource for patients diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, Hodgkin’s disease and for their family members and caregivers.
Leukemia is cancer of the blood cells. Our research is dedicated to catch/treat/cure and provide better treatment, before it spreads. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) was founded in1949 when a blood cancer diagnosis was almost certainly fatal. Thanks in part to innovative research funded by LLS, survival rates have doubled, tripled and even quadrupled for blood cancer patients. New hope to find a cure for blood cancers has never been greater. Right now is the most important time in the history of blood cancer research as “Smart Drugs”, among other advanced therapies, emerge as new treatment solutions.
